Lisa’s story
Lisa started with us after already losing a considerable amount of weight by herself. The difference in her before and after pictures is 33 pounds and 36.5 inches!!! And shit loads of strength 💪🏻
To achieve this, Lisa trained 3-5 times a week, mainly weight training and 1 or 2 of our conditioning classes. She was super consistent with steps, water and protein. Oh, and yes, she was on 1900 cals a day 🙌🏻
She kept herself accountable every day; if she had a day that she struggled, she still tracked, even if it was 3000 cals.
Lisa trained in ways that pushed her, but she still loved.
She tracked all her food, but she loved everything she ate 🙏🏻
This was a change of lifestyle, a way of living that she now loves because it makes her feel good. And that is why feeling good is at the heart of what we do. You don’t join our gym to ‘go on a diet and lose weight’ – you join it to be in an environment where you are coached and supported to create a life of balance in which you feel healthy, happy and strong.

Fiona’s story
In Fiona’s own words
I started with Michelle 2 years past in May....It was the scariest but best decision I have made to date....I remember that very first workout (legs) I think I could only use the bar with zero weight on it.....I also remember the finisher and to be fair I was nearly finished after it....I had to go pick my daughter up from Nursery and I could barely get out of the car, well little did I know the following days would be worse BUT I went back again and again building up to a PT session with Michelle to some at home by myself....This continued until Michelle convinced me to get myself gym membership so I could train another 3 times a week...Michelle always made sure that I knew exactly what I had to do and was always there to help if needed.....
Then Spice and Michelle opened there now Gym and what a community it is......I continued to grow in strength and confidence....from PT sessions to Sweat classes to Crossfit I done them all and although hard I enjoyed every second.....Its definitely more than a gym its a safe place for you to train to get time out and to be with like minded individuals....I have changed more than physically (although that change has been massive) I have changed mentally, I have a discipline I never would have thought I would have....I have a knowledge of nutrition and most importantly a much better relationship and understanding of food......The old Fiona my old life does not exist anymore....I am now stronger healthier and a much better person all round and that is all down to training and the guidance I received.

Amanda’s story
Amanda’s goal in 2023 was either to do a marathon or a photo shoot.
I am so glad she didn’t pick the marathon.
She has been such an empowering woman in our gym helping to empower other women.
Amandas story
I was always fairly regular at the gym but got quite serious when I started PT with Spice (best decision I ever made).
He trained me on a 1-1 basis for a while then opened M.B.H fitness with his partner Michelle.
Iv been enjoying training for years I felt I could push myself further so we made a plan in april to go for it
Spoke to Barry and within weeks I had a photoshoot booked.
I worked so hard and was so dedicated, with the support from my family especially my husband preparing my foods, tracking my calories, walking with me etc just being my back bone.
My photoshoot was on my 47th birthday, I was so proud of what I achieved. It was the hardest, most proudest and enjoyable experience of my life.
My husband and coach accompanied me on the day and I smashed it.

Mens Camp
Padraig (Pmac)
Padraig a coach himself joined the mens camp to get his love for his own training back on track.
After a successful 8 weeks in the camp he was down a whopping 10lbs and began getting his hunger and love back for training.
Gary (GMAC)
Gary joined my mens camp after being a one to one client of mine for nearly a year. Of which he has totally changed his life around with regards to training and nutrition.
He wanted to be part of the men camp for some accountability and for some healthy competition between the lads pulling 13.5 lbs off his frame in an 8 week window.
Anthony (Anto)
Anto joined mens camp to get the accountability and structure back in his training.
Pulling off a whopping 17.5 lbs in just 8 weeks we smashed his goal.
He let accountability standards slip when he went off plan and has since rejoined the group to get back in the zone.
Odhran (ODIE)
Odie joined men camp to be part of the group of men looking to inspire other men in the hope he could keep up his consistency and motivation with training.
Odie dropped 10 lbs down but piled on the strength and muscle as you can see from his physique changes.
Mr Motivator kept the boys all on there toes.
What is it?
Its a monthly program run for 4 weeks at a time.
Helping men lose weight/ build muscle/ and get the love for training and health back in their life.
Its resistance training based 5 day workout program. 1 of these training days is the weekly class with your coach in a small group training at MBH fitness.
The other 4 days training are done on your own from a gym of your choice (open gym option at MBH).
You get to be part of a supportive private group of men who push each other on and hold each other accountable to achieve there health and wellness goals. Its been amazing for mens mental health.
